Wow! Thank you for sharing this, Rachael! I will for sure be trying the mirror gratitude technique. I’ve been struggling with comparison for the last year due to health issues. It left me feeling depressed and alone after every hospital visit. I’m looking for a change in my life and I know finding my worth in Christ will make all the difference!

I can so relate. I am 47 and have been praying for a godly husband and children since I was 21. I was tired of waiting and when I was 33 I gave into temptation, and then found myself pregnant at 35. I then married that man, who loved me the best he could but did not follow God, and then divorced him due to his unfaithfulness. I do have a beautiful 11 year old daughter, and am so blessed. Now, I feel the flame of hope with all that is within me to hold fast to Jesus, because He is going to show up and answer my prayer! But deep inside so afraid to tell anyone of my revelation, afraid of being wrong about what I am feeling once more. But those who hope in the Lord, will not be put to shame. My current anthem.
